Scalable Vector Graphics files are commonly used in printing and animation, but the lack of support on older Web browsers makes it difficult to use the file in its current format. Some image-editing programs may also lack the ability to properly display and edit SVG files. These compatibility issues can be solved by converting the file from SVG to the Portable Network Graphics file format used by Adobe Fireworks, Inkscape and a number of other image-editing programs. You can also use online image converters to quickly convert SVG files into PNG without the need for a standalone image-editing program.
