The iPad, a tablet computer made by Apple, has a 9.7-inch touch-sensitive display, making it suitable for watching movies. Each iPad comes with the free "Videos" app, which can play movies saved in the H.264, M4V, MP4 and MOV formats, but it doesn't support playing Xvid videos. If you installed the third-party "CineXPlayer" app to watch Xvid videos on your iPad, you might want to delete videos with the app after you've watched them, to free up storage space on the device. You can easily remove movies with CineXPlayer on your iPad.
