How to Insert TM in Outlook

Updated April 17, 2017

The "™" symbol is commonly used in the business world to indicate that a name or logo is a trademark. If you want to include the symbol in an e-mail, you likely won't find the symbol on the keyboard. However, Microsoft Outlook has a set of shortcuts available for commonly used symbols. Using the correct shortcut, you can insert the trademark symbol in your Microsoft Outlook e-mail message.

Open Microsoft Outlook and create a new e-mail message.

Place the cursor at the location in the message where you want the trademark symbol to appear.

Hold down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys and press "T" to insert the trademark symbol.
