Alliance of Valiant Arms (AVA) is a free-to-play, massively multiplayer online first-person shooter (MMOFPS) game, in which players can switch between three different classes of soldier. Each class gives players access to different weapons, skills and advantages, or disadvantages, as they tackle the game's challenges and combat scenarios. Players start AVA with basic weapons and equipment, but gain access to more advanced items as they earn experience and rise in rank. Players also have the option of purchasing items from the in-game store using real money or gold earned during missions.

Download and install the IJJI download manager and game client. Create your free IJJI game account.
Open the game client and log in. Create a character by using the arrows to select a face to represent your soldier. Choose a name to complete the process. When finished you will be taken directly to the game tutorial. Play through the tutorial. Upon completion you will be awarded basic skills in each of the three available classes -- Point Man, Rifleman and Sniper.
Choose a channel from the list that appears after you have completed the tutorial and earned your rewards. Each channel represents play areas with different sets of level restrictions. This gives newer players a chance to play the game without being harassed by more experienced players. AVA also has channels dedicated to player vs. player combat, special events and clan-related gaming.
Click on the icon of the class you would like to play -- Point Man, Rifleman or Sniper. Players may switch between classes during game play.
Choose a room from the list of open rooms and click on it to enter a game. Each room represents a different type of game play, the details of which -- such as map, number of players, mission goals, length of play -- are determined by the room host.
Earn class skills by playing AVA -- completing missions, earning experience points and reaching in-game milestones. Class skills boost player abilities with bonuses such as faster movement speeds and reduced weapon reload times.
Click on the "My Info" button in the bottom left of the screen. Click the "Class Skills" tab to see the skills you have earned in each class as well as a list of all available skills in each class.
