Go to the NikeiD website by typing www.nikeid.com into the address bar of your browser. On the NikeiD home page, select your language, then location.
Search for Nike Blazers to begin designing your sneakers. Click the "Design Search" link at the top right section of the page. In the search box in the top right section of the page that comes up next, type "blazers," and click the "Search" button. The search results will display a variety of different Nike Blazers. Click on any of the Nike Blazers that come up in the results to begin the design process. A new page will appear with the name of the shoe and a picture of the shoe. Click the link that says "Customize Your Own," located underneath the image of the shoe. If you like the design you selected, and you want to use some of the design in your personal design, click on any area of the shoe that you want to change to customise it. If you want to start from scratch with a completely blank shoe, click the "Start Blank" link on the left side of the shoe.
Design your Nike Blazers. The Nike Blazer image shown on your screen is interactive, meaning that you can simply click on the section of the shoe that you want to customise, and a box will pop up allowing you to select the options you want for that particular section. Or, you can go to the "Design Process" bar on the right side of the shoe and go down the list of options until you've finished designing your Nike Blazers. Click on the "Swoosh" to change the colour of your Nike swoosh, or make it full grain or metallic leather. Click on the base of your shoe to change the colour or material or to add a patterned design. Click on the laces to choose a colour to complement your design. Continue clicking on each section and selecting your customisation options until you've got the design you're looking for.
Add a custom ID to your Nike Blazers. You have the option to add your own personalised text to your Nike Blazers, as opposed to the traditional Nike logo. In the "Design Process" box on the right of the shoe, expand the box and scroll down to the bottom. Select "Collar ID" in the "Text" section. Choose whether you want to display a custom ID, or the Nike logo. If choosing to enter your own personalised text, click the "ID" button, and in the "Left ID" box, enter the text you want to display on the back of the left shoe, then click "Show Me" to see your ID design on your shoe. Proceed to the "Right ID" box and enter the text you want displayed on the back of the right shoe. Your text can be a maximum of 6 characters per ID. If you choose to go with the traditional Nike logo, select the "Logo" box, and choose the colour you want the logo to be.
Review and purchase or save your design. Using the toolbar underneath the image of your shoes, use the right and left arrows to rotate your shoes and review the design to make sure everything is perfect and the way you want it. Use the zoom in and zoom out and the "More Views" buttons to get a 3D look at your Nike Blazers in every angle -- giving you a very real image of what your shoes will look like. If you need to make any changes, go back over to the "Design Process" box on the right to make any necessary alterations to your design. If you're satisfied, purchase your design or save it to purchase later. To purchase your design, click the orange "Add To Cart" button, and follow the steps to complete your purchase. If you want to save your design for later access, click the save button and log in to your www.nike.com account -- if you have one -- or create a free account by following the link available for new accounts. Once you're logged in, you'll be able to access your design and make changes, or show it off whenever you'd like.
