How to Reactivate Sun Cellular SIM Cards

Sun Cellular provides prepaid and postpaid wireless plans to consumers living in the Philippines. You will find that the plans include mobile Web, local and long distance and text messaging. If you have an old SIM card from Sun Cellular, you will need to activate it. This is especially beneficial if you switched providers in the past. A Sun Cellular representative will help you through the reactivation process.

    Turn off your Sun Cellular cellphone. Remove the protective cover in the back. Remove the battery.

    Insert the SIM card with the metal plates facing down. Reinsert the battery, and replace the protective cover.

  3. 3

    Dial "200" on your phone's keypad to contact Sun Cellular. Verify your account information with the representative.

  4. 4

    Tell the representative that you would like to reactivate your SIM card. Follow the representative's instructions for activating it on your phone.

  5. 5

    Wait to receive a text message stating you activated your SIM card.

Tips and warnings

  • You can reactivate your SIM card by texting "ACTIVATE" to 2300.
