Whether you're hoping to close your T-Mobile account or just upgrade to a new phone, it's always wise to check your contract end date first. T-Mobile service agreements are usually two years, and cancelling your contract early can cost you as much as £130. Moving your phone number to a new provider while under contract to T-Mobile can also cause you to be billed for the cancellation fee. T-Mobile customer service can check your contract end date for you.
