Your Blackberry Bold smartphone is set to activate the voice mail feature after a predetermined number of rings. This setting is controlled by your wireless service provider. If you would like to increase the number of times your phone rings before going to voice mail, contact your service provider to request the change. Most service providers have a dedicated voice mail system that allows users to change their personal voice mail settings.
