Catwoman is a popular costume when Halloween rolls around, or when someone needs a costume for a party, because she is one of the only female villains in the Batman franchise. Her costume is fairly simple, and it includes a mask. The mask is easy to make and should cover most of your face, except for your chin and mouth, and have cat ear shapes on top. Create your own Catwoman mask so that it fits your face perfectly.

Instructions

  1. 1

Draw your Catwoman mask shape on a piece of paper to try to achieve the proper shape. The mask should wrap from one side of your face to the other, over your nose, and should have triangular cat ears that will be placed roughly at your temples. Practice on the paper, cutting out your templates, until you have the perfect shape.

  2. 2

Place your paper template over a piece of black craft foam. Trace around its edges using a piece of chalk.

  3. 3

Cut out your craft foam mask. Hold it against your eyes to determine where you should cut the eye holes. Cut out ovals where your eyes will be.

  4. 4

Poke a hole on either side of the mask, at the edge, using your scissors. These holes will allow you to attach an elastic band to the mask.

  5. 5

Thread an elastic band through each of the holes you created with the scissors. Tie a knot around each hole to secure the elastic.

  6. 6

Spray the mask with adhesive glue and sprinkle it with black glitter to give your mask some sparkle.
