Instructions to Use a Festina Watch

Updated March 23, 2017

Knowing your watch helps you adjust it and use its features to their maximum potential. Spanish manufacturer Festina produces a range of watches, using Citizen watch movements which are controlled by buttons and a crown located on the side of the watch casing. They display the date, time and in some cases have a chronograph (stopwatch). You can adjust and use your Festina watch by pushing the buttons and by pulling the crown to certain positions and twisting it.

Pull the crown of the watch out two clicks. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in. The second hand will then begin to run.

Pull the crown out to the first position. Turn the crown counter-clockwise to set the date. Push the crown back in.

Pull the crown out to the first position. Twist the crown clockwise to set the day. Push the crown back in.

Press the top button on the side of the watch face to start the chronograph. Press it again to stop the chronograph. Press the bottom button to reset the chronograph.

Pull the crown out to the second position after replacing the battery. Press the top button to reset the chronograph to zero position. Push the crown back in.
