Although Netflix began as a mail-order video rental service, the service has migrated to several other formats that offer streaming television and movies directly to your home television set. With an active Netflix account and an Internet connection, you can download the appropriate software for the device and set up your Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or Roku box. When the device is connected properly, you can watch anything from Netflix's instant viewing library on your Samsung television.
