Facebook is a convenient way to stay in touch with friends near and far, old and new. If your friends are inclined to update their profile status frequently, you may find your News Feed jammed packed with too many updates to follow. Facebook offers a way to hide your friends' updates and posts to the News Feed without removing them as friends.

Head over to Facebook and log in with the email address and password associated with your account.
Click the "Home" tab.
Select "News Feed" from the left menu tab under your Profile picture.
Click "Most Recent" next to "News Feed" at the top centre of your News Feed page, then click the drill-down button next to "Most Recent."
Click "Edit Options" to bring up a list of people you have hidden. Pages and apps you have hidden will be listed as well. Check the box next to the hidden person you would like to unhide -- or remove from the list. The once-hidden friend's post will again appear in your News Feed.
