Suomy is an Italian company that makes motorcycle helmets and safety gear. Suomy helmets are made of ballistic plastic and Kevlar to meet international safety standards. The Sumoy helmets are equipped with full face visors that prevent road objects and bugs from pelting you in the face during rides. Using the visor is a straightforward process. Do not use antifog cremes or cleansers on the Suomy visor because they degrade the chemical coatings the company treats them with.

  1. 1

Put the helmet on and push in and up on the visor to raise it for open face riding. Push the lift-lever on the left side (slide it into the lift lever slot) to open the visor mechanism that lets you raise the visor up.

  2. 2

Push down on the visor slightly and push on the lift-lever to the left to lock the visor in the upright position. There are two locking positions for the visor: fully up and fully down.

  3. 3

Insert the lift-lever into the side slot and lift the visor up. Push the visor lock back and then reach into the helmet and press the lock button to release the left side of the visor for removal. Repeat the process for the right side of the visor and remove the visor from the helmet. Remove the visor to wipe it down or wash it with soapy water.

  4. 4

Snap the left and right sides of the visor into the visor lock holes. Insert the lock-lever and slide it down and into the lock visor holes to put it back onto the helmet.
