When a new e-mail message arrives in your MSN Hotmail inbox, you can receive a text message alert on your cell phone. Free text alerts are sent as soon as a new message is received. The sender and subject of the email is included in the text alert. If your cell phone plan does not include texting or you have a limited amount of text messages available, you may incur a charge from your mobile carrier for each text message you receive.
