  1. 1

Plug one end of a 1/4 inch instrument cable into your guitar's output jack, then the other end into your VOX V9158's "Input" jack. This will establish the connection between your instrument and your amplifier.

  2. 2

Plug your foot switch pedal cable into the amp's "Foot Switch" jack. The foot switch pedal will now allow you to toggle between the tremolo effect sound and the dry sound.

  3. 3

Plug one end of your speaker cable into the "Extension Speaker" jack on the back of the amplifier, and the other end into your speaker cabinet's "Input" jack. This type of connection allows you to send the processed amplification signal to another speaker, in addition to the one included in the amp internally.

  4. 4

Plug the amplifier's power cable into an available wall outlet to complete the wiring. The V9158 is now ready to be amplify your guitar performance as it was intended.
