How to Hide the Date of My Post on Tumblr

Tumblr is a popular blogging platform that is customisable yet simple to use. With Tumblr, you can choose different themes and alter the style of your blog to your liking. However, if you want to hide the date on your blog posts, you need to use a custom CSS code in addition to your theme. Changing or adding to this code alters the appearance of your blog posts.

    Log in to your Tumblr account.

    Click on the "Dashboard" tab at the top of the screen.

    Select the "Customize" button in the right-hand panel, next a picture of a spanner.

    Click on the "Advanced" tab at the top of the screen and enter the following code into the blank CSS box:

    .notes {2.0 blog date:pictureperfect604.tumblr.com;}

    div.blogsModule ul.moduleList li.clearfix span.date {display:none;}

  5. 5

    Click the green "Save" button at the top right-hand side of the screen. Your posts' dates are no longer displayed.
