Keeping your watch securely strapped to your wrist is vital for both comfort and style, but it also ensures that you do not accidentally lose it. Dual-deployment watch clasps are watch-securing clasps that fold over and clip into place on a leather or rubber band to hold the strap in place. You can install a dual-deployment watch clasp on your watch strap with the aid of a household pin.

Instructions

  1. 1

Remove the spring bar from the deployment clasp by pressing a pin into the hole on the side. This will depress the spring on the pin and it will pop out.

  2. 2

Push the spring bar into the holding slot on the end of the strap. Slide one end of the spring bar into the receiver hole on the clasp. Push down on the other end of the spring with your fingernail and slide it into the opposite receiving hole.

  3. 3

Flip the hinge of the deployment clasp open.

  4. 4

Insert the band end into the clasp and clip the tang (adjustment pin) into the hole on the band that is correct for your wrist size.
