Close Outlook 2010 and restart your PC. In some cases, a simple reboot will resolve the issues with Outlook 2010.
Open the Start menu and click on the "My Computer" or "Computer" icon.
Navigate to the C:/Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office 2010 folder on your local hard drive.
Right-click on the "Outlook.exe" icon and choose "Properties."
Go to the "Compatibility" tab at the top of the pop-up window.
Uncheck all of the boxes underneath the "Compatibility mode" heading.
Press the "Change settings for all users" button.
