The iPad features the ability to create Wi-Fi hotspots on models with an active cellular data connection. This Wi-Fi hot spot allows you to share your cellular data connection with up to three Wi-Fi-enabled devices located nearby. You can create a new Wi-Fi network on your iPad device through the Settings menu.

Tap the "Settings" menu on your iPad.

Select the "Personal Hotspot" option. Slide the blue switch to the "On" position.

Tap the "Wi-Fi" password button.

Enter a unique password for users to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Tap the Home button located at the bottom of your iPad's screen to save your settings.
