How to install aerial tv

Updated April 17, 2017

Aerial TV is also known as free TV because it's broadcast free with the use of an aerial antenna. Installing aerial TV is one part connecting the antenna and one part setting up the TV to show these channels. The process only takes a couple of minutes to complete and there are no special tools or technical knowledge required.

Slide the plug from the end of the antenna onto the RF (Radio Frequency) port labelled "Antenna In" on the back of the TV.

Turn on the TV and press the "Menu" button, so a menu appears on the screen. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the area labelled "Antenna Source," and then select the "Aerial Antenna" option by pressing the "Enter" button on the remote.

Navigate to the section labelled "Channel Scan" and press the "Enter" button on the remote control. The TV starts to scan for channels available from the antenna signal. The scanning process takes a couple minutes. When the scan is complete, the installation is finished.
