Facebook is a social networking site where you can share brief status updates and notes with other users. You can make your updates, notes and Facebook profile more eye-catching with text effects such as mirror writing. It's possible to write reversed text character by character, but far quicker to use a text generator. Text generators are sites that allow you to type in your desired message and then apply the effect you want automatically. Once the generator has converted your text, you can copy it to your clipboard to use on Facebook.

    Launch your browser and navigate to a text generator that allows you to create backwards text, such as

    Type the text you wish to reverse into the input field. Press the appropriate button to reverse the text. Some sites allow multiple options, such as reversing letter order, flipping the letters themselves back-to-front or flipping text back-to-front and upside down. The altered text will appear in the output field.

    Click anywhere inside the output field. Right-click to open the context menu, then choose "Select all." You can also press "Ctrl" and "A" at the same time to select all the reversed text.

    Right-click the selected text to open the context menu again, then choose "Copy." Alternatively, you can press "Ctrl" and "C" to copy the selected text. The flipped text is now saved to your clipboard ready to be pasted. Do not copy anything else, or the text will be overwritten.

    Open a new tab or window. Navigate to Facebook and log in with your user name and password.

    Click anywhere in the input field for your status update, note or profile information. Right-click to open the context menu and select "Paste" to paste the flipped text. Alternatively, press "Ctrl" and "V." Update the information. Your reversed text should now appear on your Facebook page.
