"Dragon Age: Origins" is a single-player roleplaying fantasy game developed by Bioware for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. In the "Dragon Age" series, players must make decisions for characters and party members that directly affect outcomes later in the game. Queen Anora, the daughter of the antagonistic Loghain, is one of the candidates players can choose as the successor to the Ferelden throne. By persuading Anora to accept your character as her husband, your character can assume the role of king after the negotiations at the Landsmeet.

Travel to the Landsmeet. Complete quests in the "Landsmeet" quest line, the primary quest series in the game, until you receive the quest to go to the Landsmeet at the Royal Palace in Denerim.
Speak to Queen Anora. Before the Landsmeet begins, you will spend a night quartered at Arl Eamon's estate with Anora and the rest of your party. Speak to Queen Anora about ruling together as king and queen. Having high Persuasion skill will help convince her to accept you as her husband. You can level your Persuasion skill by selecting the "Persuade" dialogue prompt any time it is presented throughout the game.
Defeat Loghain at the Landsmeet. Loghain is a melee fighter in heavy armour that uses several knockdown abilities. Have your mage immobilise him with Cone of Cold and avoid his attacks. Defeating Loghain will trigger a cutscene. At the end, you can decide whether to kill him yourself, have Alistair kill him or spare him. If you spare Loghain, he will join your party. To marry Queen Anora, you must either spare Loghain or allow Alistair to kill him. You must not kill him yourself.
Choose the new ruler. After deciding Loghain's fate, you will enter a dialogue with Anora in which you will be asked to select the new ruler. Select yourself as the new king, proposing that you marry Anora and rule together.
