How to Install Firefox on AIX 6.1

AIX 6.1 is IBM's latest version of its operating system based upon the UNIX operating system. Using AIX 6.1, your computer can run leaner and be more programmable and customisable than with other operating systems. The interface, moreover, is still simple and effective. Firefox is a popular Internet browser and is available for AIX 6.1.

    Register your universal IBM user ID if you have not already done so at IBM's website.

    Sign into "Mozilla Firefox for AIX."

  3. 3

    Download Firefox installation files after signing in.

  4. 4

    Run the installation file when the download is complete.

    Agree to all terms and conditions and install Firefox by following the on-screen prompts.
