How to hide CC & BCC in gmail

By default, the BCC and CC fields are both hidden. However, once you've clicked "Add BCC" or "Add CC" you cannot hide the field unless you create a new e-mail. When you send an e-mail, you have three different options as to how you send the email. The traditional method is by entering an e-mail into the "To:" field. Any e-mail address in the "To:" field will be revealed to everyone who receives the email. The same thing happens when you send an e-mail to someone using the "CC:" (carbon copy) field. However, when you send an e-mail using the "BCC:" (blind carbon copy) field, any e-mail address in that field will not be revealed. However, due to a quirk in Gmail, if you don't enter an e-mail address into the "To:" field, every e-mail address in the "BCC:" field will be revealed.
