The best selling life simulation game, The Sims 3 allows players to create Sims with their own unique personalities based on five traits. Players can choose from a variety of personality traits including adventurous, eccentric, shy and flirtatious. As the five traits are coded into the game, the only way to exceed this limit is with a software modification, or "mod." There are two mods which may be used together to allow players to add more than five traits. The "Master Controller" mod provides players to control aspects of the game normally prohibited such as family size, relationships and the number of allowable body modification sliders available in Create-A-Sim. Rainbow Brite's "Add More Traits" mod overrides the five trait limit.

Tips and warnings

  • Before installing any Mod to your game, back up your current save files.
  • Players should exhibit caution when installing any modification into the game which causes changes to the original programming. Although most Mods do exactly what they are supposed to do, many can render the game unplayable if there are compatibility issues.
