The L85A2 airsoft rifle is a reproduction of the famous rear magazine mounted SA80 used by British military forces. Designed as an AEG (Automatic Electric Gun) to use an internally mounted battery pack, the L85A2 fires .20mm diameter plastic BB projectiles. The airsoft BBs are loaded into a magazine that is then inserted into the magazine tube of the rifle for use. Loading airsoft BBs into the magazine is necessary before shooting the rifle.

Instructions

  1. 1

Hold the L85A2 magazine with the top facing up. Locate the sliding loading door on the top of the magazine and slide it open to the side to load ammunition into the magazine.

  2. 2

Open a container of .20mm airsoft BB ammunition. Position the fill tube of the container into the loading port. Pour up to 450 airsoft BBs into the magazine.

  3. 3

Remove the BB container when the desired number of BBs have been added to the magazine. Close the loading door on the top of the magazine.

  4. 4

Turn the magazine so the bottom is accessible. Locate the spur gear on the bottom of the magazine and turn it to wind the airsoft BBs up into the magazine chamber so they will be fed into the L85A2 rifle.

  5. 5

Place the top of the magazine at the base of the magazine tube on the bottom of the rifle receiver. Push the magazine up until it locks into place.
