"World of Warcraft" ("WoW") was released for the PC in 2004. In "WoW," non-player characters (NPCs) in friendly towns can be attacked to lower your reputation with them. Certain achievements, such as "Bloodsail Admiral," require a low reputation with a friendly town to obtain. To attack a friendly town, you must declare yourself at war with them from the reputation panel at any time during the game.

Skill level:

  1. 1

Press "C" to open the character window.

  2. 2

    Click the "Reputation" tab.

  3. 3

Click the button labelled "At War" next to the friendly town you wish to attack, like Booty Bay. This allows you to attack that town's NPCs.

Tips and warnings

  • When you are hated by a town, they will attack you on sight and not allow you to take quests or buy goods from them.
