Locate the Dell webcam icon in the lower right side of the desktop task bar to ensure your computer recognises the webcam application.
Click the "Start" button and the "Control Panel" icon. Locate "Imaging Devices for a Laptop Integrated webcam" and double-click it. Look under the tab "Manufacturer" to see that the setting is "Creative Technologies Ltd." and click "OK."

Look for the "Start" button. Place your cursor over it and click on it to light the blue LED on the Dell webcam. Look for the image of the webcam to appear on the screen.
Move your mouse over the Dell webcam icon on the right side of the task bar and right-click. Click on "Launch webcam Console" and access the Dell webcam settings.
Locate the "Picture Controls" section of the Dell webcam program to control the brightness, contrast and colours of the on-screen images.
Change the "Brightness," "Contrast" or "Color" settings as you wish. Click on the "Reset" button to change the camera settings back to their defaults.
Click the "Start" button and then click "All Programs." Locate the "Dell" directory and click on it. Click on "Dell" and "webcam Manager."
Find the" Video Recording" section and click it. Click to open the audio source menu on the right side of the screen.
Check the right microphone input to ensure the Dell webcam is selected. If not, select the "Dell webcam" input.
