Western Digital Television (WDTV) is a media player for streaming high-definition multimedia content over the Internet. The WDTV box can connect to a computer or high definition TV. You can use headphones for private listening on the WDTV player with a slight modification in the way the audio-video cables are connected. Use the composite stereo jacks on the WDTV box with an audio Y-adaptor, which is available at electronics stores, to hook up stereo headphones.
