How to Change the Default Background Screen on an iPod Nano

If you spend a lot of time using your iPod Nano, a portable music player made by Apple, you might want change the default background screen, also known as "wallpaper" so you won't get bored looking at the same image. The iPod Nano has a 1.54-inch (diagonal) touch-sensitive colour display, and it comes from Apple with free background images already installed. You can easily change the background image on your iPod Nano.

    Tap "Settings" on the iPod Nano's Home screen.

    Tap "General."

  3. 3

    Tap "Wallpaper." Thumbnail images of different background images appear.

    Tap the thumbnail of the background you want to use.

    Tap "Set."

  6. 6

    Swipe your finger to the right against the iPod Nano's screen to return to the Home screen.
