  1. 1

Talk it out with him. As his partner, you have to be open to hearing why he is stressed, and often all that is needed is a sympathetic ear to help someone feel less stressed about a situation.

  2. 2

Go exercising together. Exercising releases endorphins, which make people feel happier. He can also take the time to take his frustrations out on a punchbag.

  3. 3

Socialise with him. It can be in a group setting or even a romantic date as long as it is fun. Sometimes all someone needs is to take the time to relax and laugh. Socialising will help him forget his worries, even if it is for a few hours, and he will appreciate the effort you make in planning something for him.

  4. 4

Give him a long, sensual massage. Massage therapy is often used for stress management, and having someone that means a lot to him providing the massage will further help him to forget his worries.

  5. 5

Offer to help him. If the reason for his stress is something you are capable to helping him with, the best thing you can do is offer to help. For example, if he lost his job, helping him with his job search will take some of the pressure off him. He will also appreciate that you are truly there to support him.
