Videos are an eye-catching, dynamic way to get your readers' attention. WordPress does support the MP4 file format for embedded videos. If you have WordPress installed on your own web host then you will already have the ability to upload files of 2MB or less. If you are using a free WordPress.com blog you will need to purchase and install the VideoPress upgrade before you can insert MP4 files on your blog.
