Twitches, according to Disney, stands for "twin witches." The "twitches," Cam and Alex, are the main characters of a book series and movie of the same name. Separated at birth, the twins meet and discover their powers by accident.

Though they're identical, the twitches share distinct personality traits. Cam is the "lighter" sister, wearing the sun half of a necklace they share. Alex is the "darker" sister and wears a crescent moon. Whether you're a teen witch, a twin witch or just a fan, these necklaces can make a beautiful addition to your jewellery collection.

  1. 1

Lay the golden scrapbook paper out with the plain sides facing up. Draw a 1 inch diameter circle on one design. Draw a 1.5 inch diameter sun with wavy rays on the second design and a 2 inch diameter sun with longer wavy rays on the last design.

  2. 2

Lay out the silver scrapbook paper with the plain sides up. Draw a 2 inch long, ½ inch wide crescent moon on one design. Draw a 1 inch long, ¼ inch wide crescent moon on the other design.

  3. 3

Cut out all of the sun and moon pieces. Place the largest pieces on top of the clear acetate film and trace around them with a china marker. Cut out the acetate film pieces, as well.

  4. 4

Brush the acetate pieces with découpage paint. Press the largest sun and moon pieces to the corresponding piece of acetate. Brush the sun and moon pieces with découpage and add the smaller pieces. This should create three-dimensional effect.

  5. 5

Brush the very top of the sun and moon pendants with découpage. Let the glue dry overnight.

  6. 6

Glue a pendant bail, available at craft stores, to the back tip of the sun and the moon. These are your necklace pendants.

  7. 7

Cut a piece of cord about 16 inches long. Squeeze one half of a clamshell lobster clasp to each end of the cord. Slip the pendants onto the cord so the moon lies on top of the sun. You may also make a second cord and wear the pendants separately.
