Updated April 17, 2017

Reset your Iomega ScreenPlay multimedia drive whenever configuration errors and glitches get in the way of optimal performance. The Iomega ScreenPlay series multimedia drives hold and play such photo, video, and audio files as JPEG, MP3, WAV, AC3, MP3 and MPEG 1, 2, and 4 on your home entertainment system. Resetting your Iomega Screenplay should take less than five minutes.

Power on your Iomega ScreenPlay by pressing the remote's "Power" button. Wait for the device to display the Screenplay HD Detail View screen before continuing.

Press the "Select" button on the remote, then use the arrow buttons to scroll down to "Preferences," then press "Play." The preferences sub-menu will now appear on your television screen.

Press the up or down arrow buttons on the remote until "Defaults" is highlighted, then press "Play" once again. The set-up function settings will now be reset to their original factory settings.

Press the left arrow button on the remote until "Main Page" is highlighted, then press "Play" to exit the set-up sub-menu screen. Alternatively, press "Setup" to return to the main screen.
