    Launch Adobe Dreamweaver CS3. Open the file you want to add the MP3 to. Click the location in your file where you want to place the MP3.

    Select the "Insert" menu, and then "Media." Choose "Plugin" and select the MP3 file. Click "OK." Dreamweaver inserts embed coding to play your MP3.

    Click the "Common" tab of the Insert menu. Locate the "Media" icon -- it displays a triangle, box and circle. Click on the button to view the drop-down, and select "Plugin." Select the MP3 file, and then click "OK" to insert the MP3 coding.
