An LG television set that comes with a "password lock" option allows you to block certain programs based upon the ratings of shows and movies. Such an option is convenient if younger children often use the TV. Resetting the password from time to time ensures that the children or other individuals do not learn the password and change the settings on the TV. You can reset the password on the TV even if you have forgotten the current password.
