Show off your design skills by creating a birthday cake design to send to somebody celebrating a birthday. Take advantage of the computer keyboard to make personal and creative designs, such as a six-layer cake. The design can be sent through e-mail, texting or social media by creating the cake and either attaching it as a document or typing directly into a text box.

Click in the document or text box at the spot where you want to place the cake.

Type "-------- , , , , --------" and press the "Enter" key.

Type "------ |-|-|-| ------" and press the "Enter" key.

Type "-----| Happy |-----" and press the "Enter" key.

Type "----| Birthday |----" and press the "Enter" key.

Type "---|*|---" and press the "Enter" key. You can also put a name inside the cake instead of just a layer. For example, "---|Chris**|---".

Type "--|*****|--" and press the "Enter" key. The cake is complete.

Tips

  • The cake should line up without leaning to one side. Add your own figures to the cake; however, be sure to remove the figures you are replacing so the cake will align properly.
