The Okidata C3200N printer requires periodic drum replacement, and the machine conveniently keeps track of which drums it's time to replace and reminds you on the screen with a message. You may wish to override this message. For example, the message may display even after you have replaced the drum, or you may have inspected the drum and determined that it is working correctly, and simply want to remove the message from the display panel.

- Resetting the drum life will also reset the toner and fuser life in the machine, which could make it difficult to know when the other supplies need to be replaced.
