GIMP is a popular freeware photo and image editing suite that runs on the Unix, OS X and Windows operating systems. GIMP offers a number of photo and image editing tools previously only available to users of costly professional-grade software suites. Despite the fact that GIMP is available free of charge, a whole host of up-to-date support documentation is available directly from the developers that provides detailed and helpful information on how to use the tools included with the software.
