  1. 1

Draw a large oval that is longer horizontally than vertically. This oval will become the bear cub's head.

  2. 2

Draw a similar, but smaller oval inside the bottom of the first oval This smaller oval will become the bear cub's muzzle.

  3. 3

Draw a third, smaller oval inside the centre of the oval drawn in step 2. This smallest oval will become the bear cub's nose.

  4. 4

Draw a long line that descends from the bottom, left corner of the bear's head, and curves out and then back in. This line will become the curve of the bear cub's arm. Draw a circle to the end of the line, which will become the bear's paw. The line should look similar to a number 6. Create a mirror image of this on the other side of the bear cub.

  5. 5

Draw a line that rises straight up from the paws that were created in step 3. You will now have completed drawing the bear cub's front legs. Draw a straight line connecting the bear cub's paws to create the outline of the bear's stomach.

  6. 6

Draw two circles above the muzzle to create the bear's eyes. Draw two slanted lines above the eyes to create the eyebrows.

  7. 7

Create the bear cub's mouth by drawing a straight line that descends down from the nose. Draw two lines that slant downward at the bottom of the straight line, .

  8. 8

Draw two semicircles that extend out from either side of the bear cub's paws. These semicircles become the bear's back feet.

  9. 9

Create the bear cub's ears by drawing two half circles that rise from the top of the bear cub's head, above the eyes.
