Just like many Secure Digital (SD) and Micro Secure Digital (microSD) memory cards, some Secure Digital High Density (SDHC) memory cards have a write-protection lock tab. When this tab is placed in the "locked" position, no files will be removed from the card when trying to delete them in any piece of electronic equipment. In order to remove files from a write-protected SDHC card, the tab needs to be switched to the "unlocked" position.
