When looking through various web pages on the Internet, you will come across embedded flash media links. These links allow you to view and listen to a variety of audio and video files. When you select the link, the media file opens in your default media player. If you wish to watch the media files exclusively in VideoLan's VLC media player, simply set up that preference in your default program settings.
