How to Flatten Out a Screen Protector

Updated April 17, 2017

Many modern smartphones are equipped with sleek touchscreen LCD displays. These are sensitive components and should be protected from scratches and scuffs. A good way to protect an LCD screen is with a disposable protector. These protectors are applied directly to the screen. Once applied, you may find that there are creases or air bubbles in the protector, but there is a quick fix for this.

Take a plastic card and place it over the surface of your phone's screen.

Run the edge of the card over the screen protector as if the card were a squeegee.

Run the card firmly over the surface of the screen. This will begin to smooth out any creases or bubbles.

Repeat until all creases and bubbles are gone from the protector.
