Lay the foam flat onto your work space. Measure and cut two equal-sized triangles out of the foam. The size of the triangles should depend on how big you want the cat ears to be, but a good starting size is a triangle that is 3 inches long and 2 inches high.
Lay the black fur fabric onto your work space. Place the foam ears on top of the fabric, and cut around them to create two black ears the same size as the foam pieces.
Place the white fur onto your work space, with the fur side facing downward. Place the foam pieces onto the white fur fabric and draw around them, leaving a 1-inch gap around the edges of the ears. Cut out the white fur pieces.
Heat the glue gun. Apply small drops of glue to the back of the black fur and press it into the centre of the white fur. Allow the glue to dry. Repeat with the other triangles.
Place the headband on your head and decide where you want the ears to be. Mark the spot with a marker. Remove the headband. Squeeze a small drop of glue onto the corner of one of the ears, and carefully press it onto the headband. Repeat with the other corner of the triangle. Repeat with the other ear.
Cut the tights in half,so that only one leg remains. Trim the tight leg so that it is approximately 15 inches in length. Stuff the inside of the black tight with the stuffing for the tail.
Put the black dress on. Put the knee high black socks on. Pin the tail to the back of the dress with a safety pin. Put the headband on.
