Smooth, sumptuous skin is the perfect palette for make-up. Getting the best skin possible is a worthwhile endeavour. Getting a dewy, clear complexion involves hydrating the skin and eliminating pimples and red marks. Dewy skin looks moist, but not sweaty. Think of a peaches and cream complexion. For people with oily skin, you must tame those oilies and related pimples. For those with dry skin, infusing moisture into the skin and eliminating flakes is paramount.

Instructions

  1. 1

Wash your face with a hydrating cleanser. Avoid cleansers that contain alcohol. Look for hydrating ingredients such as Shea butter or aloe vera. Do so at least once per day and twice per day if needed. Always wash your make-up off every evening.

  2. 2

Exfoliate the skin once per week. Use a gentle facial scrub that contains Shea butter and jojoba beads. Exfoliating the skin removes the dead skin cells which reveals new, dewy skin cells. It also keeps the skin clear. Apply the exfoliating scrub to a damp face. Rub it gently in circles. Wash it off with a wet washcloth.

  3. 3

Put a Vitamin C serum on the skin every morning. It is critical for creating radiant, dewy skin. The vitamin C serum protects the skin from free radicals. Apply it to the skin 20 minutes before applying sunscreen and make-up.

  4. 4

Smooth an illuminating tinted moisturiser on the skin. Instead of heavy foundation make-up, this tinted moisturiser makes the skin glow while also hiding flaws and evening out the complexion. Tinted moisturiser hydrates the skin and is ideal for the dewy look.
