In Microsoft Excel 2007, when you try to select or copy cells in a range, cells that are hidden or filtered within that range are automatically included. There is a hidden tool built into the Excel interface that lets you select only cells that are visible. You can add its button to your Quick Access Toolbar. The Quick Access Toolbar is the tray of icons located beside the Microsoft Office button and above the ribbon toolbar.
