Install new firmware on the Nokia E51 phone to repair problems or to update the device. Nokia offers new firmware and software updates for the phone periodically. These updates can be installed using a PC or via the handset. Before installing any new firmware, it is important to back up all important files on your phone. Many updates will not erase your current files, but as a safety precaution you should back up all data.
