Evernote software allows you to capture ideas, notes and pictures and store them in one place to remember later. Similarly, Microsoft's OneNote software acts as a digital scrapbook, where you can compile and retrieve your notes with a few clicks. In 2010, Microsoft included OneNote in the Microsoft Office software package. If you want to import your files from EverNote to OneNote, you can do this in different ways.

Instructions

    Via Outlook

  1. 1

Open EverNote and click the files you want to import to OneNote in the left-hand task bar.

  2. 2

Click on "Email." Enter the email address associated with your Outlook account and click "Send."

  3. 3

Open Outlook and find the email containing your EverNote notes. Find the "OneNote" button under "Move" in the Outlook task bar and click "Send to OneNote." Click the OneNote file you want your notes to be exported to and confirm your choice.

    As HTML

  1. 1

Open EverNote and click on "All Notes" in the left-hand task bar. Right-click and then click "Export Notes."

  2. 2

Browse your hard drive using the dialogue box that appears to find the location you want to store your notes. Then click "HTML" from the file format options at the bottom of the box.

  3. 3

Open your HTML file in a Web browser; right-click on the page and then click "Send to OneNote." Click which file you want to store your notes under and then confirm. This method will export text but not attachments, such as pictures or audio files.

    Using OneNote Printer

  1. 1

Open EverNote and select the notes you want to export. Click on "Print" in the task bar and click "Send to OneNote Printer." Confirm your choice and wait for EverNote to "print" your notes. You can print multiple notes at a time.

  2. 2

Click on "Print" in the task bar and click "Send to OneNote Printer." Confirm your choice and wait for EverNote to "print" your notes.

  3. 3

Click where you want to save the files within OneNote and click "OK" to confirm. You can now view an image of your EverNote files in OneNote, although they won't be editable with this method.
