Liberty Reserve is an account-based financial service that allows you to send and receive money throughout the world; however, all payments are irrevocable. If you no longer want access to your Liberty Reserve account, you can have your account removed by e-mailing the Liberty Reserve Compliance Department. A representative will process your request and refund any money remaining in your account within a few weeks.

    E-mail the Liberty Reserve Compliance Department at compliance@libertyreserve.cr from the email account that you used to set up your Liberty Reserve account. You can also submit a message through Liberty Reserve's Contact Us form (see Resources).

    Type the phrase "Account Closure" into the "Subject" line of the email.

    State that you would like to have your Liberty Reserve account removed, and include the following information in the body of your message:

    1. Account Name

    2. Account Number

    3. Registered Email Address

    4. Date of birth (formatted DD/MM/YYYY)

    5. Answer to the security question that you created when you set up the account

    6. Balance in the account as of the date of your closure request

    7. Information about your last transaction

    8. Country/ City/ Zip Code

    Click "Send" to transmit your message. A confirmation e-mail will be sent soon after to confirm that Liberty Reserve received your e-mail.
