Download the iPhone 4.0.0 Restore .ipsw file onto your computer.
Press the "Power" button on your iPhone 4 to turn it off.
Plug the sync cable into the "Sync" port on the bottom of your iPhone; then plug the other end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer.
Double-click the RedsnOw application icon to launch it; then click the "Browse" button on the main window.
Select the .ipsw file you downloaded to the computer from the browse window; then click "Open."
Select the check-boxes "Install Cydia" and "Install iPad baseband" in the next window; then click "Yes" in the pop-up window that prompts: "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Click "Next" in the next window; press and hold the "Power" button on your iPhone.
Continue to hold the "Power" button and then press the "Home" button until the installation process begins in the RedsnOw application. Your iPhone will automatically restart once the process is complete.
